Do you think David Beckham, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, Usain Bolt, or Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda were just naturally born into stardom? They may make it look easy, but it took a lot of hard work, preparation, and practice. And practice. And practice. And preparation and practice. And practice. And practice. They got to know their craft. They all know what works and what doesn’t.
Same with video production. It often looks so easy to do, but, believe us, it isn’t! Good video has a plan and a purpose. It takes preparation.
If you’re considering video, that’s great. It’s important to market and create memorable content to your audience. But if you’re going to do video, it takes commitment and passion. And preparation. You can’t really wing it. It takes some time. You have to know why you are doing it and who you are trying to reach and what platforms to use.
Plan it, figure out where you are going, and then do it. The content will get better, the momentum will build, the goodwill will grow, and your audience will stay tuned to your business.
You'll be richer for it.
